Ten Borg & Overström T3 dispensers replaced bottled-water deliveries across three floors — supplied, installed and maintained by Permatech.

Sharjah Asset Management (SAM) wanted its everyday hydration to match the standard of the rest of a carefully designed workplace. The brief was simple: better water, less plastic, and nothing that looked out of place in a boardroom.
The challenge
Spread across three floors of boardrooms, executive suites and shared pantries, the offices relied on bottled-water deliveries. That meant constant storage demands, recurring cost, mounting plastic waste and a supply that wasn't always consistent — a poor fit for a premium working environment.
The solution
Permatech specified the Borg & Overström T3: a space-saving under-counter system with a sleek integrated tap that sits naturally in a modern office interior. The unit stays hidden below the counter, so all that's visible is the tap itself.
- Chilled, hot and ambient filtered water — with optional sparkling, depending on configuration.
- A clean countertop appearance, with the system tucked into the cabinet below.
- A sustainable alternative to single-use plastic bottles.
- Suited to boardrooms, pantries, executive areas and shared workplace spaces.
The installation
The rollout was planned to keep disruption to a minimum:
- A site survey across all three floors mapped placement in boardrooms, pantries and executive areas.
- Under-counter units were plumbed to the mains with integrated filtration.
- Work was phased around office hours to avoid interrupting the working day.
- Each unit was commissioned and sanitised, with a short handover for the facilities team.
The result
Ten taps now serve around 300 employees and guests every day — and the change is visible well beyond the counter.

An estimated 10,000 plastic bottles a month have been removed from the offices. The team reclaimed storage space, counters look cleaner, recurring spend on deliveries is down — and SAM's facilities team has given positive feedback on day-to-day use.
Ongoing service
The system is covered under a Permatech annual maintenance contract. Scheduled preventive maintenance, filter changes and sanitisation keep water quality consistent, backed by priority response — so the taps stay reliable with no added burden on the in-house team.
